What Causes Prolonged Periods After Taking Emergency Contraceptive Pills?

Me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex on the 23rd of December and then again on the first day of my period i.e., 24th of December. I took the emergency contraceptive pill on 25th morning. The problem is my periods are not stopping even after 7 days. Today i.e., on 1st of Jan, 15 it is light.

since period are not stopping there is nothing to worry. but still you should go for pregnancy test. in future donot take that type of riskthere is no gurenty in taking emergency birth controll pill.
