What Causes Prolonged Pain In The Elbows Radiating Towards The Knees?

My husband has pain from his elbows down and knees down for about 5 years now. The only relief is when he s moving. The pain is so bad he only sleeps maybe 4 hours at most. His blood work comes back normal and his Doctors have no answers to his pain, prescribing pain pills that take any energy he may have. He just turned 59 years old, weighs 175 and is 6 ft. He exercises on a regular basis, cardio and weight lifting and eats a very healthy diet. Can you please help?!

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

As a first line management, analgesics like Aceclofenac or Tramadol can be tried for pain relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
