What Causes Prolonged Menstrual Cycle After Taking Norethisterone?

Hi, I am going on holiday tomorrow and my doctor gave me norethisterone on Tuesday (I was already on my period when he gave it me) is now Sunday and my period is light but still there? I have no idea what to do as I m flying away in the morning but do I keep taking the norethisterone 3x a day while on holiday? I mean the blood amount if usually only there when I wipe, but still annoying!! I mean if I stop taking it now will I have a period after a few days even though I already started it before taking the tablet? Help?! Becci

I really appreciate your concern, it would be just best to stop the medicine now and no need to worry about this and try to maintain the menses according even if you are travelling and this would not be big deal this can be managed very easily, hope this information helps, take care, and have a nice day.
