What Causes Prolonged Discomfort On Outer Edge Of Left Breast?

most of my life, since a teenager,I an now 60, I have bothered by an ache/discomfort on the outer edge of my left breast.It is always the left one. I have very lumpy breasts but that seems to be less of an issue now that I have reached menopause. It worries me and I am constantly feeling that area of a lump or something that I may miss. I find a little help at night by putting A5 35 cream on the area..and also some help from taking vitamin E. What could cause this? Is it my diet, or my genes? What can I do to eliminate or lesson the symptoms?

Hi,

You can get a mammography done to exclude any breast issue. I feel, it's the excessive bulky breast that drags the breast mass down to create stress to concerning muscle, ligament, muscle masses which cause you pain. You need to wear supportive brassier to observe this trouble. The ointment you apply acts as pain reliever. Vitamin E helps in relieve fibro-adenosis in the breast.
