What Causes Prolonged Delay In Periods Inspite Of Taking Progesterone?
my daughter lost about twenty five pounds over a year after gaining 15 her first year in college. She now has not had a period for a year after being very regular. I took her to an Ob/GYN and he put her on progesterone every other month for the last 6 months, and she still has not had a period. What should are next step be?

I really appreciate your concern, in my opinion teenager does not need any hormone therapy for irregular menses, if she had regular period initially, and then later on she missed the period, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
