What Causes Prolonged Clear Fluid Discharge From Vagina After Having Yeast Infection?
So I had a yeast infection months ago but now I have constant discharge with little to no odor, it's clear in color and slightly watery in consistency. I also sometimes get cysts around the lower labia. I haven't had a moment to see a doctor because of work. Please help.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern... Some vaginal discharge in absence of itching sensation is normal. Excessive Vaginal discharge can occur due to a variety of reasons. Bacterial and yeast infections are two of the common causes for vaginal discharge. Since you have been treated for them, it may not be prudent to put you on a dose of antibiotics again. Vagina has a specific pH ( acid base balance) of 3.5-4.5. Factors which disrupt this balance may lead to the above mentioned symptoms. If you have changed your laundry or soap in the recent past, it maybe a reason. Used a pH balanced soap/cleanser for your vagina, this can be easily obtained at your nearby pharmacy store. You should wash your vulva with warm water 2-3 times a day. Doing a sitz bath may also be helpful
Consult a gynaecologist if problem persist
Hope this information helps
