What Causes Pricking Sensation In The Left Eye?

I have sudden pricking sensation in my left eye with pain, watering and foreign body sensation since yesterday evening. I tried eyedrops overnight, but there s no relief in the symptoms at all. It waters more when i close the eye. No visual impairment or headache or anyother significant history. Pl guide.

you didn't mention all your symptom, whether you have redness of eye or not?any H/O of Foreign body contact with your eye?is there any swelling in your eyelid?
i think you need to examine by an ophthalmologist.as eye is an sensitive organ of our body please don't use any drop without prescribed by a doctor.
as your problem is not subsiding it will be better for you to consult with an ophthalmologist nearer to you.
