Been out in the sun for the last week some pleasure some work. Was on Lake Onterio all day Saturday.I have head pressure that I feel when I cough or have a bowel movement or any exertion. I am not taking any medication or am I on any prescriptions, Private pilot, just passed medical 6 mo ago. It is a steady overriding head pressure. Moderate joint aching. Lo grade fervor. I am very physically fit and strenuously hike once a week. Don t know of any ticks however I hike in the hill tops in northern Pa. Stomic feels fine and I am drinking and eating regular.
As per my clinical experience, the pressure in head while coughing or bowel movement indicate possible alteration in fine fluid balance of cochlear pathway affecting certain nerve conduction pathway and producing pressure in the head through endolymph circulatory disturbances.
In my clinic, I do recommend detailed physical examination with Renne and Fork test with Audiometry test to rule out primary possibilities and one may need MRI according to the primary work up.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care.
