What Causes Pressure In The Ears?

On February 14 in the evening I started to hear music in my head. It has continued all day and night. I had a CT Scan and there nothing wrong with my brain. I saw my ENT and she found nothing wrong with ears but I feel a slight pressure in my ears. I was given anti-depressant medication by my Internist to take at night to help me sleep. That does help but the problem with the music in my head all day and night does not go away. Who should I see about this problem? Thanks. Mary

Hello ,
thank you for your question . I can see that you have seen internal medicine doctor and ENT doctor , but you have not been diagnosed . A not so common reason for "music " in the head can be carbon oxide intoxication and severe stress . If you were my patient i would suggest you to rest for a week . It would be beneficial switching to a healthier diet with more fruits and vegetables and hydration. You can still take your anti - depressant medication to help you sleep better .
Hope you get better .
Best regards
