Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain pressure in ears along with
hearing loss after cold can be due to
ear infection and fluid accumulation behind the eardrum..
At times ear infection can also lead to perforation in the eardrum that can cause hearing loss..
I would suggest you to consult an ENT expert and get evaluated and he can also do otoscpic exmination of ears alog with x ray, MRI,
Audiometry etc to confirm the cause and treat accordingly..
You can be given a a script of
oral antibiotics and painkillers along with decongestant nasal sprays to reduce ear pressure and improve hearing..
Antibiotic and
analgesic eardrops can also be advised..
In case if there is perforation in eardrum that does not improve with medication then surgical repair of eardrum and placement of pressure equalization tubes can be done..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
