What Causes Popping Sounds In Wrist?

I popped my wrist out of place 8 days ago, I ve had it stabilized in a brace. Today I went to urgent care and it s not broken or dislocated anymore. I have to go to an ortho in a week to find out why my wrist pops loudly when it s bent and why I can t feel the top of my thumb and starting in another finger too... Any thoughts on what this could be? Like what I could expect when I go to my ortho?

It is most likely that you got swelling in your wrist which is pressing on median nerve leading to numbness in thumb and other finger. You need clinical examination and MRI to further assess you.
