Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain popping sounds from the jaw when opening the mouth wide and also hearing squishy sounds on even slight movement of the jaw is indicating that there has been jaw joint dysfunction secondary to head trauma and most probable thing can be displacement of articular disc that is a soft cushion present between the two bony ends of the jaw leading to direct rubbing of the bony ends on movement and it is leading to squishy sounds..
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physicin and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like x ray can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
As of now if there is pain you can take anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen..
Do warm compresses at the jaw joint.
Take a soft diet..
Avoid ecxess mouth opening..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
