What Causes Popping Sound Around The Surgical Area On Sneezing?

My husband had major surgery on the right chest. They took out his peak muscle and his sixth rib. He had a fleshing eating bacteria. Like about two days ago he sneezed really hard and he said he felt a popping sound on his right side, under his surgery. Do I nerd to rush him to the hospital?

Wait and observe at home. It is sometimes just an abnormal feeling post surgery. Different patients describe it differently. But nothing is there inside. It is a kind of paranoic behaviour and has no clinical consequences.


Just observe him physically, mantally and morally. Also record his body temperature twice daily. If there is any change in any of the above noticeable criterion, call his surgeon/Hospital right away and get a surgical opinion. It will be alright soon.
