i am from philippines i have a small hole on my eardrum, i already consulted to an ENT doctor and i take antibiotics, after a week the doc said there is no infection, i just want to ask why there is poping sound when i intake breath inmy nose

I really appreciate your concern if there is perforation is tympanic membrane and having some secretion of upper respiratory tract then this secretion also coming form the perforation and the produces the clicking sound the only option for to rid out of this condition is to treat this condition with anti-histamine hope this information helps you, have nice day.
