What causes popping and warm sensation in the ankle?

About 3 weeks ago I rolled my ankle and felt a pop followed hot and naseous. The swelling has not reduced around my ankle. It looks like fluid is built up. The inside and outside of my ankle hurt as well as the bottom of my foot. Is it broken or sprained

Hello,

I think you should do an x-ray of the ankle joint to check if you have broken it or dislocated it.
You can use anti-inflammatory drugs such advil or naproxen for pain and swelling.
Keep limb elevated.
Use diclofenac gel to relieve inflammation.
You can use ice compresses too.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
