What Causes Plugged Sensation In The Ears?

I have experienced plugged ears..especially on one side. Started about a year ago when I used an OTC ear cleaning kit and has plugged up on and off since. Recently it plugged up again and hasn t released since this past Thursday. My girlfriend used 2 rounds of peroxide in the ear for 20 minutes each and it opened up the ear for the day until I slept and it was plugged up again every morning. Any ideas?

As you mentioned you have problem of ear plugging sensation that may be because of ear injury or eustasian tube problem or other reasons.

Special investigation like otoscopy examination of ear give exact idea about problems.
Start a treatment as per reason behind it..
Avoid water or any substance entry in ear.
