What Causes Pins And Needles In Feet?

Hi my 7 yr old daughter told me that at school she got pins and needles in her feet and went really dizzy and felt sick and that she was wafting her arms around and everything went black for a split second if it wasn t for her friend she would of fallen over is this normal? the car - booster seat ends around backs of her knees!!
