What Causes Pinching Sensation In The Groin?

I went to stand up and felt a big pinch in my left side groin, like my pubic hair was caught somewhere. After I stood up, the pinch pain went away but now my left groin is much harder in one spot than the right side. I have no other pain except the concern of how hard my left side is. It feels like it s swollen.

Hello,
Thanks for your query.

Pinching sensation in the groin seems to be due to temporary compression of nerve most likely due to faulty position.Taking mild pain killers and muscle relaxants will bring a short term relief. Regular stretching exercise will be helpful.
you can do a hot fomentation and apply a local analgesic gel on the area to relieve the spasm.
If this persist I suggest you to get it evaluated by an orthopaedician.

I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
Take care
