Understanding your concern. As per your query you have pin prick sensation in throat when swallowing which is due to upper respiratory tract infection known as granular pharyngitis. It could be possible that there is some ulcer in oral cavity. I would suggest you to avoid very hot, spicy and hard foods to prevent irritation to throat. You should take combination of anti inflammatory such as levocetrizine and antibiotic such as Azithromycin. Your symptoms will resolve in 4-5 days. If symptoms keeps on persisting visit ENT specialist once and get some routine blood investigation done. Take diet rich in multivitamins. Drink plenty of water.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
