What Causes Pin Prick Feeling In Inner Right Calf?

I have a pin prick feelIng in my inner right calf. It feels like it is inside the skin not anything to do with muscles or bones. It happens about every 5 minutes in the same spot. The prick feeling lasts about 5 seconds then goes away but surely returns again.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms of pin and needles are generally related to the nerve compressions. I suggest to use an anti inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen to relieve the symptoms. A CT scan is needed to confirm the diagnosis and take proper treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
