What Causes Pimples On The Face After Intercourse?

Hi docter i got pimples on my face 2 days back after the intercourse and its not going. And i am applying antiboitic to it it dint reduced. Before i was not having pimples on face and i got such pimples so will u please explain y do i got?? And how to get rid of this pimples??

pimples are not associated with intercourse
pimples are common in females during there reproductive period of life due to some influence of hormones on development of acne along with various other factors.
Treatment :-
1. Benzoil peroxide + Adapaline gel for local application at bed time ( only over acne ) ( Side effect - Burning and dryness in some for which emollient should be applied twice a day
2. A good face wash twice a day

If along with acne you have increased hair growth over face and abdominal pain than consult dermatologist nearby you he will offer some investigations and USG pelvis to rule out PCOS


If you have inflammatory acne which are indicated by red yellowish fluid filled papule for than you need oral antibiotics for which consult nearby dermatologist

For acne with nodules and cysts you may need oral retinoid ( DO NOT TAKE RETINOID YOURSELF without consulting dermatologist as these drugs may causes liver toxicity for which liver function test and fasting lipid profile is to be done ) (Retinoids causes BIRTH DEFECTS in new born of a mother taking these drugs during pregnancy for which pregnancy test is mandatory)
