What Causes Pimples On The Buttock Area?

I just discovered as many as 20 pimples on my buttocks yesterday afternoon. I stayed in a hotel saturday night, and went swimming in the public pool there. I ve never really had acne problems before. I live in Central Florida and do HVAC work for a living, so I m constantly sweating. Is that what is causing the pimples? I don t know if I ve had them for a few days or not, but I just noticed them yesterday.

Red bumps on the buttocks can be due to a range of causes...From the scenario that you have described, it appears as insect bite hypersensitivity reaction.
Take an antihistamine like tab cetrizine 10 mg at bedtime for 3 days
And apply a soothing lotion like dermocalm lotion on the lesions twice daily
Wear dry and clean clothes
This should subside in 3-4 days
Thanks
Take care
