What Causes Pimples On The Base Of The Penis?

I had what seemed to be a big pimple, more so a cluster of pimples, on the base of my penis about two to three months ago. It looked like 3 whiteheads that were all together. I popped it and what came out was not a liquid puss like a typical pimple on the face. It looked similar, but was more like a hardened substance. After i popped it it went away within the next couple days. I have just now noticed that I have a few pimples around my pubic area and base of my penis. This time they do not seem to be whiteheads like before and I have approximately 6. Do I have genital warts? They do not hurt or cause any discomfort. What can I do to treat this?

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
What lesions you are describing to be present on penis and genital area appears that it is bacterial skin infection and underneath tissues. This is caused mainly due to poor genital and personal hygiene.
It does not seem to be genital warts.
Kindly do the following to overcome it.
1. Clean the area with mild antiseptic solution like Savlon twice daily.
2. After drying, apply Neomycin cream over the lesions.
3. Take anti-inflammatory medication Tablet. Ibuprofen twice daily after food.
4. Use medicated antibacterial soap while taking bath.
5. Wear loose fitting undergarments to avoid friction and provide proper ventilation.
6. Abstain from sexual activities till the lesions heal completely.
Gradually your symptoms should subside.
