Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello. Thank you for writing to us at healthcaremagic

You seem to have inflammatory acne i.e red, painful and pus filled lesions.

Heat and humid weather conditions in coastal areas can lead to an inflammatory flare because the skin glands produce more oil in these conditions.

If I was the treating doctor I would suggest you to take an Oral antibiotic for this inflammatory flare up.
Oral antibiotics are rapidly effective in bringing the flare down. A response is usually evident within 2 weeks on initiating Oral antibiotics.
These can be continued for 4-12 weeks depending on the severity of acne and the response to treatment
The commonly prescribed Oral antibiotics in acne include Doxycycline, Azithromycin, Lymecycline etc.

Topical treatment is also an important component to the overall treatment of acne.
You may use a topical antibacterial like either clindamycin Or benzoyl peroxide gel, twice daily.

I suggest you to visit a dermatologist in your vicinity for an assessment of the overall skin condition and the needful.

Regards
