I have a lump between my eyebrows under my skin. I've recently had a cold and sore throat which has gone now. I am nearing my time of the month and have a bit of a pimple breakout on my face. I was just wondering if it to do with that. The lump isn't that big and is painful to touch. Almost like how a spot feels when you touch it. I'm in my early twenties. A non-smoker or drinker and don't live in a sunny area.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of pimple outbreak on face which is mainly due to staph infection on your skin i.e bacterial infection. Whenever skin got punctured because of any reason these bacteria enter in skin and start causing infection, symptoms of redness, swelling, pus. I would suggest you to wash your face and skin around infection with antibacterial face wash. You should drink plenty of fluids. Take antibiotic course such as Azithromycin or you can take Augmentin as well. Start applying antibacterial cream such as tripple antibiotic or neosporin, You can apply ointment rich in Azealic acid, it will give immediate effects. Complex polymyxin B ointment is also an effective one.
