What Causes Pimple In Buttocks Leading To Soreness And Discoloration?

I have what looks like a really bad pimple on the inside of my butt crack... Its sore to touch and its reddish purple but it may be from trying to pop it thinking it was a zit. Its sore but I haven t been able to break the skin to see if any blood or pus come out.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. If you send a picture of it then it will be more helpful in identifying. From your description it can be most likely pilonidal sinus which is an usual condition for that location. Hot fomentation and betadine ointment application locally will be helpful. But if there is no improvement then antibiotic therapy as well as incision and drainage might be required. For that you can consult your GP.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
