What Causes Persistent White Vaginal Discharge?

Hi,I have visited gp twice already with the same problem but the result always comes back fine. I have lot of white discharge and I don t know what it can be. After the second result I just bought pessary for trush but didn t help I waited around 2 weeks and try another pessary called balance active. Still everything is the same. Could you recommend a solution for my problem? Many thanks in advance.

Hi dear..So you have used a clotrimaxole pessary thinking its thrush... Was the discharge foul smelling, curdy or watery like in consistency..?It is good to get a vaginal swab taken to find out the cause of this discharge,,, to know which bacteria or fungus is causing this condition . this can aid treatment.
But as of now you can take tab. metronidazole 500mg three times a day for five- seven days. You can also take doxycycline 100 mg two times a day ( not with milk) after food. Both this should help you get rid of the discharge.
