What Causes Persistent Watering In Eyes Along With Formation Of Crusts?

Eye which I wear a gas permeable contact lens due to keratinous (with cataract) waters too much, causing crusting that is scaly. The tears cause cuts to the eye lid. Erythromycin prescribed by corneal specialist has helped with the scaling and cuts, but still waters, fortunately not as much. Whatever is going on with the tears is causing the lid to droop. Erythromycin also helps a little with the drooping when I apply it to the corner of the lid. Contact specialist has also examined the eye as well as the contact lens and taken a topography(?) topo. They can t figure it out. When this was first happening, a spot on my leg was prescribed as ring worm and I had a rash on my elbow, all on the same side. The rash was a reaction to cardboard - I work in retail. OTC hydrocortisone took care of that & has taken care of a flareup. I just need something to suggest to my doctor (Evan Loft with Eye Consultants of Atlanta). I use a non-preservative solution for my contact. I do have a lot of allergies. I was diagnosed with Keratonous in the 90 s and had a corneal transplant on my left eye in 2009. Cataract in that eye was removed a couple of years later and I don t wear a contact in that eye anymore.
