What Causes Persistent Vaginal Bleeding While On Zinnat For UTI?

Hi doctor. I have a question.It s about my girlfriend. About two weeks ago, she was diagnosed with a UTI and prescribed with Zinnat.However, after two days of being on the drug, she started bleeding. She thought it was the effect of the UTI but it has persisted, with it resembling menstrual flow. She even says it has skin. She also has brown discharge.What could be the problem? Is Zinnat known to bring about such side effects?

I really appreciate your concern, it could be menses bleeding, it may be just co-incidence the UTI and Irregular menses, but menses may not be due to this, it must be due to hormone changes hope this information helps.
