What Causes Persistent Stiffness In Neck?

I was recently bitten by two ticks while out 3d hunting. One a month ago and the other a little more than 2 weeks ago. From what I can tell they were not deer ticks and they were removed within 5 hours of the bite. I have been struggling with a stiff neck for about 10 days. Is this any indication of Lyme disease?

Hello,

Consult a physician and get evaluated.

It can be a sign of meningitis.

A spinal tap may be required to confirm the diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
