What Causes Persistent Scars On The Collarbone?

3-4 years ago I developed football like scars on my collarbone, I also developed what I thought was a bladder infection that would go away and then return. Looking in the mirror there my groin area is white and I no longer have a hood on the cliteris. One Dr treated me for Scleroderma which turned out bad (my face swelled up and my face broke out). Then they thought it was lichen sclerosus and now they think it may be lichen planus. How can I help my doctors find what is wrong with me?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The only way to find out is to run skin biopsy. So ask them to run a skin biopsy to determine the right diagnosis and start appropriate treatment.

Plus might require a few blood tests to rule out other internal diseases.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
