What Causes Persistent Pain In The Side Of The Abdomen?
I m a 44 year old white female, I m married with two kids. For the last year I have been having medium to severe pain on the left side of my abdomen. I have had three ultrasounds in reference two this pain and they have put me on the pill and then taken me off the pill. Doctors diagnosed a four cm cist on my left ovary. Is there anything else that can be done. It has taken over my life with bedrest and pain with no relief.

As per your history is concerned you need surgical treatment as your age is 44 .So tell them to do totally remove ovary as well as uterus as these are not necessary now.
