What Causes Persistent Pain In The Lower Back?
Hello, I have been having a deep ache in my right lower back, above the glutinous maximus and below the waist. I am thinking it is a muscle pull but cold and hot treatment is not easing the discomfort. Thank you for you assistance. I am trying to figure out what it is before making an appointment with my medical clinic.

As per your history, it may be due muscle sprain.
For that you can take tablet acetaminophen. Apply diclofenac gel with heating pads.
In case of not getting relief, you may require MRI back with whole spine screening. Do regular physical therapy.
