What Causes Persistent Pain Below The Left Shoulder?

I have been having this pain below my left shoulder for about 6 months now. The pain comes and goes. I have also had an xray jus recently and the results were normal. What could be the problem? There are times i cannot comb my hair or lift my arm for daily chores.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The pain looks more to be caused by a pinched nerve. I understand you should get an MRI scan of the shoulder and neck for proper diagnosis and treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman, General & Family Physician
