Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Persistent Pain And Tingling Sensation In The Shoulder?
I have shoulder pain. It s not terrible but it s not getting better I ve had it about a month It hurts particularly when laying down. It seemed like it started when laid down on my back and put my hands and arms above my head to do some bench presses. It felt like something separated inside my shoulder.. I can golf with no pain. It tingles but not all of the time and sometimes it doesn t hurt at all. I m thinking it could be a pinched or the start of rotator cuff injury. What ideas might you have. Thanks Dave
Your symptoms seem to be related to a pinched nerve in the shoulder. I recommend using anti-inflammatory medication for the pain such as Ibuprofen three times a day.
I also recommend you to using anti-inflammatory cream for local application such as Voltaren cream. Heat compresses can be helpful.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
