What Causes Persistent Pain All Over The Body Post A Tonsillectomy?
Good day doctor. I had an attack of both sinusitis and tonsillitis in 2012. This happened four days after I gave birth to my son. This was so severe that my body will swell in some parts and I will be having electrical shock pain all over my body. This persisted till I had my tonsils removed last year but the pain in my temples, nose teeth has continued. Please any idea about the issues?
post tonsillectomy the myalgia or pain around your body is quite normal. Most often the pain is neuralgic at this moment .Tonsils are a great protector of our body from a lot of infections. Hence we are prone to a lot of infections . Regular girgling with a routine analgesic and antibiotic coverage will help a lot. please do have a throat examination by yourtreating doctor before starting medication. hope this helps. most welcome for further queries.
