What Causes Persistent Numbness In The Hands After Being In Cold Temperatures?

I was in the freezer for an extended period of time. Had put on a double layer of gloves to keep my hands warm, but apparently cut off the circulation instead. My fingers have been numb/tingly for over a week. Anything I can do to help it? I work at a warehouse, in and out of the freezer throughout the day.

Hi,

You can wear double gloves to protect them from further harm but you would need to look at the sizes of the gloves used, one would need to be a size over.

Warmth would help improve the circulation because it would cause the blood vessels the dilate.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
