What Causes Persistent Numbness From The Head To The Toes?

I am a 66 year old woman. Yesterday a numbness came upon me from head to toe, when I wS at my beAuty shop. Had to sit down for about 10 minute s. Went to get in my car a I started to vomet. Felt a little bit better so I drove home the back. Way. No major roads. As I was pulling up in my drive way I started having the chills, to the point of having termors was having trouble walking. Was able to get up stairs and took a hot shower to warm me up I had to hang on our railing in the tub. Helped a little so I got under my electric blanket and slept until my husband got home felt better after the sleep. No fever felt OK this morning, then slowly I have been getting the chills. Vernors ,wateter, and.cracker is all I feel like eating,i t is over 24 hours and still have the chills
