What Causes Persistent Nausea In Spite Of Taking Metoclopramide?

Good evening. I have been prescribed metronidazole and ciprofloxacin hydrochloride to treat diverticulitis. I have am also taking pantoprazole which I have been taking for a viral infection. I have been very nauseated so was also prescribed Metoclopramide. The Metoclopramide does not seem to be helping and I can t eat. I can t understand why the nausea medication is not working. Could the nausea medicine be reacting with the other mess I m taking?

Thank you for trusting us to answer your queries.
Metronidazole may cause nausea for as long as you take. Try to take Metronidazole a little while after your meals (about 20 minutes) with a whole cup of water( about 200 ml). It may help to reduce the nausea.
hope this helps.
please let me know if you need any clarification
