Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have persistent lumps on the jaw bone despite taking antibiotics . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like jugulodigastric lymph nodes , submandibular gland , lipoma , a cyst , dental abscess , cervical adenitis and ludwig’s angina . I would suggest you to consult oral surgeon for proper examination . Doctor may examine physically by checking tenderness and consistency . Doctor may also order biopsy test . Doctor may remove it surgically inder local or general anesthesia . Doctor may also perform liposuction in case of lipoma . For now apply warm compresses on lump .

Hope your concern has been resolved.

if even after the drainage of pus lump remains then cytological or histopathological examination of the lump is needed to confirm nature of lesion...then further treatment based on diagnosis is needed
