What Causes Persistent Lump On Finger Post Treatment For Staph Infection?
Hi i have a staph infection on my pinky finger. Its been about 5 daya on antibiotics and the pain has gone away and the infection has gone back to the original spot but it is still a large bump there. Also it is turning darker but as i said before not growing and now seeming to heal. Does this sound right w the color change? It was bright red before now its darker.

I really appreciate your concern, such color changed of the skin of wound is likely and this could be due to healing the upper part of the wound go on dark still more and later would turn into scab, this is nothing to worry, everything would be fine, take care.
