What Causes Persistent Increase In Heart Rate?

I have been having a flipping or fluttery feeling with my heart for a couple of months, but has increased significantly recently. My heart rate usually increases a little, but tonight increased to 181. No chest pains, just fast rate. Afterwards I m shaking and have upset stomach.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You need to go and see a cardiologist as soon as possible. We should determine what is causing this abnormally increased heart rate followed by shaking and upset stomach.

If you feel the episode of increased heart rate, should go to the ER immediately and take adequate medical help there.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini,
