What Causes Persistent Headaches?
I had benign brain tumor in 1999 - surgery that December. Another one developed about 10 years ago - radiation. I NEVER have headaches - but I have had a headache for a week. Trying to decide if I should call my brain surgeon. This is the first year I have been allowed to skip an MRI.

I can understand your concern.
In my opinion, you should consult neurologist and get done repeat MRI brain to rule out recurrence of brain tumor.
Headache is the earliest symptom for brain tumor (benign or malignant).
And you are had history of relapse of brain tumor.
So MRI brain is must for you.
