What Causes Persistent Dry Cough Along With Irritation While Deep Breathing?

I ve had a dry cough for about a month now and it it doesn t seem to want to go away. I m not congested or experiencing any cold/flu like symptoms. When I take deep breathes I want to cough almost immediately. I still work out 5 times a week in doing many different core cardio routines and it doesn t seem to bother me then. It only seems to be worse when I m resting? Your thoughts? Thanks Erik

Hello Erik, welcome here. This is because cough stimulating areas have become more sensitive. Take any dry cough supressants syrup for three times a day for 7-8 days. Don't take expectorant cough syrups which is for wet syrups.All your cough will subside. Take care.
