What Causes Persistent Diarrhea With Extreme Sensitivity Around The Navel?
starting last Tuesday my doctor put me on a liquid diet for 48 hours due to stomach irritation and diarrhea. Thursday and Friday it seemed to clear. late Friday the diarrhea started again though not as often. Saturday afternoon my stomach tightened up and was sore with some diarrhea. it seemed to go away and now today, I had diarrhea and a little bit ago my stomach became sensitive to the touch around the belly button area.
As per your complain you have problem of severe diahrrea that may be because of gastroenteritis problem or other condition. Do a stool examination test to detect any infection present or not. Complete blood cell count and stool sample test is helpful for further diagnosis. If infection is present than start proper antibiotics under doctor's suggestion. Consult a gastroenterologist for further diagnosis. Try to avoid more fatty food and gaseous foods. Drink boiled filter water. Try to rehydrate your body.
I hope my guidance helpful to you. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Rachana Goswami
