General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your son has been prescribed Sudafed and Flonase drugs, and still not relieved from the cough. Both these drug contain steroid components. According to me your son has developed an upper respiratory tract infection and needs to take an antibiotic course.

I would advise you to take him to a physician who will do a physical examination and prescribe him an appropriate antibiotic. He may also advise a Chest x-ray and throat culture to diagnose his condition properly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nazma. Amman
