Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi I have a bad taste in my mouth, have lost most taste and smell abilities. I have used a neti pot and a nasal salt wash and took a ten day antibiotic treatment prescribed by my dr. The problem has been ongoing since April. No major single s pain, only a little pressure. Very little with no pain. Mainly a bad taste that won't go away. What else can be the problem.
Consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations as per suspected cause can help in diagnosis and treated accordingly..
As of now you can start chewing sugarfree chewing gums. Gargle with flavoured antiseptic mouthwash.. Do warm saline gargle. Take steam with few drops of Eucalyptus oil in boiling water..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
