General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Many patients who undergo spinal anesthesia develop backache however it generally resolves in a few days time. If the problem is persisting then I would advise you to get an MRI done for your spine to rule out any complications of spinal anesthesia like collection of blood or infection etc.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anoop Kumar, General & Family Physician
