What Causes Persistent Acid Reflux Despite Taking Prilosec?
My 17 year old son has tried an Rx of Prilosec for possible acid reflux, for the last few weeks. Does not seem to be helping. He now has symptoms of not wanting to eat, vomiting and has seen some blood in his stool. We are thinking maybe a bleeding ulcer?

please don't be panic. is blood in stools bright red in colour or black in colour. if black in colour there is a possibility of peptic ulcer. but if it is bright red in colour peptic ulcer is highly unlikely. anyway I would like to suggest you to consult gastroenterologist becuase of bleeding per rectum
