What Causes Patch Of Dry Skin On The Bottom Of Foot?

Have a patch of dry skin on bottom of my foot that started as little bumps like spots but itchy. When I scratched them while asleep the skin is all dry and will not heal. I have started to get little bumps and dry skin between all my toes now to which r sore, hot and itchy. They are not discoloured. This started about 4 weeks ago and I now have it starting on the palm of my hand.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

They might be due to dermatitis. Please let me know if the lesions are itchy or not. Apply moisturiser and coconut oil. Take antihistamines like Levocetirizine 5mg at night. A steroid cream might be needed.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ajeet Singh, General & Family Physician
